In the TikTok app, there is no native option to add two songs and add sound effects. The alternative is a little more time-consuming, but it works: you have to create the video with a song, save it on the device and then upload it again to the social network. Check out the detailed step-by-step.
How to add two songs to the same TikTok video
- Open the TikTok app and start creating the video;
- Then tap “Add Sounds” and choose a song from the app’s library. To adjust both of these in the publication, it is recommended to use the cropping tool;
- After editing, proceed to the video publishing screen. In the “Who can watch this video” field, check the “Only me” option. It is also necessary to keep the option “Save on this device” active;
- Publish the video only to your profile and save it to your mobile gallery. After this process, it is possible to delete it from the feed;
- Start another post on TikTok. This time, select the saved video with the first song;
- Then insert the second song, cut the length of the track and publish the video with the two songs.
It is important to emphasize that this feature only works when TikTok saves the video on the device. By default, this option is kept active in the app, but you can also manually enable it. To do this, open the publishing screen and tap on “More options”. Then check the “Save to device” switch. After publishing, TikTok will only display the name of the second sound used in the song title field.
